Administration / secretariat department

The Administration Department's main functions are:

  • To execute the decisions by the Municipal Council,
  • To plan, coordinate and monitor the activities undertaken by the Municipality and its various departments,  
  • To settle problems and take decisions on various issues,  
  • To enforce the Laws and Regulations,  
  • To organize events,  
  • Traffic wardens.

The Secretariat Department's main functions are:

  • To handle phone calls,  
  • To deal with incoming / outcoming correspondence,
  • To preserve the Municipality’s archives,  
  • To keep the staff registry,
  • To keep the records pertained to the works of the Municipal Council and the various Commissions,
  • To handle complaints,  
  • Contact / meetings / meetings with representatives of Government Services and other competent institutions,  
  • To solemnize civil marriages.
