Finance department

The Finance Department's main functions are:

(a) To draft a list of annual fees and licences like:

  • Waste removal
  • Real estate taxation
  • Professional activity exercising licence (Legal Persons)
  • Premises operation licence, etc.

(b) To draft the Municipality’s preliminary annual budget to be submitted before the Municipal Council for approval and to ensure a monthly follow-up for the approval being properly implemented.

( c) To draft the annual financial accounts and the interim  long-form report, costing reports and statistical data,

(d) To collect revenue / cover the expenses of the Municipal Treasury,

(e) To follow up the Cash, Debtors and Creditors balances,  

(f) To receive any objections for the due amounts, to provide services / updates to the townspeople,

(g) To file the charge-sheets for due amounts,

(h) To ensure other Funds-related operations like: the Pension Fund, Provident Fund, Welfare Fund,

ocial Security Contributions Fund, Development Fund, Cash Guarantee Fund, Open Public Spaces and Greenery Fund, Parking Places Fund, Municipal Planning Reserve Projects Fund,

(i) To execute the decisions by the Municipal Council pertained to revenue and expenditure.
